I officially became an aunt for the 19th time today! Julie went into labor around midnight last night, and Josie was born at 9:32am this morning. She was 5lbs 9.5oz and 18 inches long.
She came out screaming, and initially was breathing fine on her own. She nursed well, and appeared to be doing great! A few hours later she was transferred to the NICU and put on a little bit of oxygen as her levels were a little low. She's still doing well, and they've already decreased the oxygen they are giving her. Julie will be discharged on Monday, and right now they are thinking Josie will be discharged maybe only a couple days after that. Of course, each day will tell more. That's the very short summary...
Josie's finally here...and she's doing well. Please pray it stays that way, but right now, it's looking good that her and Julie will be home together soon! I don't have any pictures yet, but will post them as soon as I get my hands on them :)

Congrats, Aunt Sonia! Glad to hear that Julie and little Josie are doing well.
I just looked at her stats...Josie is about the size Celia was-just a little bit smaller! How sweet! I can just imagine holding her! :) What a peanut she must be...
