Sick baby :(

We got another cold in the house and it's gotten the best of Isaac. It's been about 10 days, and on Friday I found out he had an ear infection, but it wasn't that bad. So over the weekend I tried some home remedies, and lots of ibuprofen and tylenol to manage the 105 degree fever - all in an effort to avoid ANOTHER antibiotic.

I had Isaac back to the doc today (and Charlotte had her 3 year check), and his ears were "raging" according to the doctor. Bulging ear drums, and very red...to top it all off, his respirations were high and the doc could hear junk in his lungs. I turned down the offer for an x-ray to confirm it, but the doc suspects he may have pneumonia. So it's a high dose of amoxicillan this time...10 days of it...one dose down, 19 to go. The countdown is on - AGAIN! :(
