His first belt

Mason got his first belt in karate last week. He had to be tested on 4 words and show his fighting stance. I was amazed at how well he knew the stuff at home, and he froze for a little bit when he was being tested, but he recovered nicely and remembered everything. He did SUCH a good job and we are so proud of him...it's a big step to get out there with all those other kids and have to perform!

We all celebrated by going out for ice cream...Mason's favorite lately is vanilla ice cream with nerds AND cookie dough on it :)
