This past week has been a VERY busy doula week for me. Some of it extremely wonderful and beautiful, some of it traumatic and awful. I can't go into details.
Birth is so many things, I've always thought of it as simple, natural, and amazing...and I still do, but there are rare complications...and that is the hardest part of being a doula.
