He is the only 2nd grader in his whole school to pass FastMath addition...so he got his name on the wall. In fact, the only other person on the wall was a 4th grader.
Also, Mason took the district test to advance one grade in math...he had to score a 90% to pass the test, and he scored a 98.8% (83/84). He had an hour to take the test and was done in 20 minutes. So on Monday, he starts 3rd grade math! We are THRILLED for him, he needed a challenge..and Mason is oh.so.proud of himself.
More posts to come soon...Maggie is mostly potty trained (with very little direction on our part!), Charlotte is doing fabulous in school and is making great progress in reading, and she surprised me tonight with her math and how e.a.s.y it was for her! Isaac is riding his bike without training wheels and just seems so happy lately. Being parents is not easy...but it is so much fun...and so rewarding. We are so blessed!
