Miss Maggie Manners

Today while I was having a conversation with a friend...face to face, not over the phone...I hear a little voice next to me say "Moo keys, mommy"...it took me a second to remember that is 'Excuse me' in Maggie speak, and then another second to realize she was saying it since she saw I was otherwise engaged, but she needed me. When I looked at her and said "Yes, Maggie, what do you need?" She said "Firsty, need dink Mama". I thanked her for being so polite...then got her a drink. How on earth she knew to interrupt so politely I have no idea. I suppose from her siblings, but still...I was floored! She IS, after all, only TWO! Proud mama moment :)
