Sweet goodnights

We are back from our vacation, and it was wonderful. A nice getaway for all of us. The kids played hard at Auntie Julie's house and had a blast (and got spoiled rotten of course!). Charlotte is doing better, back to her old self. I'll post pictures in the next couple of days.

Today as I was tucking Mason in for his nap when we got home, he said "Mommy, I want to snuggle with you." An unusual request, but of course I oblige. So I wrapped my arms around him, and he did the same to me...and we laid there for a few minutes. I started to let go and he said "Mommy, I want to snuggle with you some more." So I wrapped my arms around him again, and he did the same to me. One arm wrapped around me resting on my back, the other hand he used to play with my hair. He just needed his Mommy, and we laid there for about 10 minutes before he let me tuck him in. He went right to sleep...never made a peep. :)

Then tonight I was putting Charlotte to bed. The last thing I do before I close the kids' doors when I put them to bed is turn around and blow them a kiss. Tonight I laid Charlotte in her crib, and she smiled up at me as she laid there. I walked to the door, said "Goodnight, Charlotte Rose. I love you." Then I proceeded to blow her a kiss....tonight, laying in her crib...peeking at me through the bars...she blew one back :)
