Last night, LATE (for me anyway, it was about 10:15pm) I crawled in bed and decided to pull out the doppler that we rented to listen for the baby's heartbeat. I hadn't heard it yet, and long story short, I had another ultrasound yesterday and the tech told me exactly where I should listen.
So I tried exactly where she said...and it took a while, but there it was! The most beautiful sound in the world...that thumpa thumpa thumpa thumpa... so fast, so amazing. It was as if baby was saying "I'm here Mommy! Listen to me!"
It's my third pregnancy, but this just never gets old. The miracle of it all never ceases to amaze me! Once we get a good recording of the little peanuts ticker I'll be sure to post it so the world can hear :)
