They are over, we are ALL happy about it. They brought out the worst in all of us...grumpy, clingy, frightened kids = frustrated mom.
Neither of the kids advanced to the next level. They did, however, make some progress getting comfortable in the water...putting their faces in and blowing bubbles, bobbing (Mason went completely under ONCE), and they did learn the safety rules and participate in group games and listen well to their instructors. I think we'll just spend more time in the water with them at the beach/pool on our own. I did get the kids each their own pool noodle for going to ALL of their lessons and participating, so they are anxious to try them out!
We'll maybe try again in a year or two...
