Happy Birthday, Mason!!!

My little boy turns FIVE today!!! He said this morning, "I know I'm 5 today, but I can't even tell!" I think he was expecting to feel different...and he's learning birthdays are just another day!

Over the last year he has learned to read, and started writing his name. He has grown into a caring, and loving big brother. He has learned to ride his two wheeled bike (with training wheels!), and has learned how to swing all by himself. He has quite the imagination, and has found a best friend in his little sister, Charlotte Rose. He's learning to tie his shoes, will be starting his third year of preschool, and can count to 100. He is growing into a wonderful big boy, and I'm so proud of him!

Yesterday we took Mason and Charlotte bowling to celebrate (while Isaac was home with Jennie!). They had fun, although Mason still says he likes Wii bowling better than real bowling...and his favorite part of bowling was the candy (they each got a big gumball). *sigh* We tried! Today we are going to the nature center and to the store to pick up his cake (that's right, I didn't make it!).
