Berry picking

I took the kids berry picking this morning. The farm said their strawberries were scarce, so we picked raspberries instead...YUMMY! Maggie slept in her stroller while the rest of us harvested 12 pints (about 7.5 pounds) of red, juicy, goodness.

Don't get me wrong, some of the harvesting went straight to our bellies, but the kids did a fabulous job of picking. It was fun and we'll definitely do it again.

I knew it was time to go when I offered Isaac a small pile of raspberries and he said "No thanks, Mom...my belly hurts!"
