These shoes are hand me downs, they are worn, they are hot and make her little feet all sweaty, they light up with every little pitter patter (or now stomp stomp!) of her feet.
They are worn every waking hour as demanded by her. They are HERS and she knows it. She is sleeping right this second...but you can bet when she wakes up a certain sweet little girl will want her shoes on again :)
