I KNOW Isaac is perfectly physically capable of being potty trained. So this morning I told him we were out of diapers and he had to wear underpants. He refused the underpants but agreed to run around "nakey". So far, he's peed twice and pooped once on his potty chair. With NO PROMPTING from me...just goes and sits when he needs to then comes and tells me. Could it really be this easy??
Now, how to get him to wear underpants?? I let him have some of Mason's (too small) Spiderman underpants...which he only wore for 10 seconds before deciding he wanted them off and to be "nakey" again. I've tried bribing with tv, candy, ice cream, etc...nothing has worked so far to get him to wear undies. Any ideas?
I also tried letting him get dressed with no diaper or underpants...just a pair of sweatpants...no go. He'd rather be "nakey".

*********FRIDAY UPDATE*********
Isaac wore underpants today!!! We had to leave the house this morning, and the only way I could get him to agree to get dressed was to put a pullup on him while he was laying down.
HOWEVER...by this afternoon when given the choice of a pullup or underpants he chose UNDERPANTS..YAY!! He did great all day, only one accident in his underpants, and we even went to karate and an errand after that tonight...all in underpants and he did GREAT!!!
I think he's got it, but I'm still hesitant to declare victory.
In other news I noticed my ticker today...seriously...only 133 days left until my due date?!?!?! Where has the time gone!!?!??

Minnesota winter will surely cure the "nakey" syndrome! :) Good job, Isaac! Annelise can last a half a day, but then it goes downhill.
hilarious! yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Let him go commando outside for about 10 seconds and see what happens. Timmy loved his underwear, and would even put it on over his diaper (he found it before we officially started training him) ...
