I had my 40 week appointment today (tomorrow is my official due date). I didn't think I'd make it this far, but this little girl has other plans! :) I don't have cervical checks, so I have no idea if I'm dilated/effaced...but baby is LOW, the midwife could barely feel her head since it is so deep and low in my pelvis.
I measured 34cm...which is the same as I measured last week...but she said baby is lower than last week. Braxton hicks contractions are more frequent, but no REAL contractions yet. We'll see how much longer this little girl decides to hold on! I'm feeling great though, I have lots of pressure in my pelvis, but really I have no aches or pains...other than the ache in my arms just waiting to hold her!! :)
