Just a few updates on what is going on in our house :)
Mason got his second quarter report card. He got PERFECT marks across the board, and we are so proud of him! It all just seems to come SO easy to him, he's already reading at a second grade level and loves to do math. We've already taught him how to carry and are starting to teach borrowing. He loves to add money figures too, so he's gotten a few lessons in decimal points as well. He is such a SPONGE and it is so fun to see.
Charlotte Rose has started to express interest in reading. She knows her letters and their sounds, she LOVES to try and read, although it's hard for her to put it all together, she is SO patient and just keeps trying. It is so fun to watch the look on her face when she DOES put it together and the light bulb goes on :)
Isaac just loves being a big boy. He is *almost* completely diaper free...his pullup is only worn at night time and it has been completely dry in the morning for the last couple of weeks. Now he does wake up occasionally at 6:30am to go potty and not go back to bed, but oh well :) It looks like we will officially be down to only one in diapers for the first time EVER...amazing!
My parents are coming today, unfortunately Dad is only staying for one night, but he's leaving Mom with us :) I'm so excited to have her here for an extended stay...someone to help me keep my mind busy while waiting for baby, and someone to help us out after she does arrive. I am so thankful for my parents and their willingness to help out when we need! In preparation for their visit, we put all three of the kids in one bedroom downstairs...you can imagine the monkey business that goes on at bedtime. It is kind of cute...but I'm hoping they'll get used to it and it won't last more than a couple of nights :)
Matt has been busy getting lots of projects done around the house, all while taking care of the three kidlets so I can have some time out of the house.
That's our household in a nutshell...our wonderful, wonderful crazy :)
