Igloos and ice skating

Super fun winter we're having!!  Today the windchills are in the -25 degree range, but that doesn't stop us from having a little fun!

First, Mason got to have a sleepover with his friend, Izaac....in the igloo that Izaac's dad made.  See??  They only used the sheet to cover the opening while they slept.  Mason said he stayed toasty warm all night long, how cool is that?!

Next, Matt has been working hard on an outdoor ice rink for the kids.  Yesterday we went and got them all skates, minus Maggie, but a friend had some skates she was nice enough to hand down to us for her (thanks, Anna!!).  The kids LOVE skating...and they all picked it up pretty quickly!  And did I mention it's Cold out (notice the capital 'C'?!)?  Tomorrow the windchills will be around -50, so I suppose I'll try to keep them inside :)

We definitely have the cold, now we just need some snow for a REAL Minnesota winter!  We've got plenty of wood for the fire, and new chains for the tractor tires...bring it on!  :)
