Parent-Teacher Conference

We had a parent-teacher conference with Mason's preschool teachers today. He's doing great! They had many good things to say about his very creative imagination, good vocabulary, good self-help skills (dressing/undressing himself to go outside, etc), detailed artwork, good attention span, active participation in group activities...so many things!

The only things to work on is using words when needing to share/wanting what someone else has...very typical for his age. He also needs some practice with his small motor skills, so we'll be doing lots more play-doh, cutting, and writing these days!

I asked about his toe walking and they said they are noticing him doing it much less than when he started. They said he is doing great all around and they have no real concerns. We love his school, his teachers are wonderful and very knowledgeable. Mason is growing and learning so quickly, it's amazing to see the transformation in him in the last year - what a big boy!
