Weekend

The kids and I went to Auntie Julie's house for the weekend. We had a lot of fun. I finally got to spend some time helping Julie out (she's on bedrest, due the same day as me). The kids had fun playing with the Jordan and Kaden, all the new toys, and of course, the gerbils!

Also, Dad had surgery on Friday and things went remarkably well! He had one hernia fixed, his gallbladder out, and his appendix out...all laproscopically! They found NO cancer, and he seems to be doing well. It was great to visit him in the hospital on Saturday, and see Jody and Jeff there too! He actually went home on Saturday and is doing well. :)

It was nice to just visit with Julie, play Scrabble, and spend some time taking care of things for her (cleaning, cooking, laundry, etc). I'll post some pictures from our weekend later...

I'm not one to usually post this on a blog, but I know so many of you read this...please pray for Julie and her baby. She was in the hospital last night with contractions again, apparently her current medication isn't doing the trick, so they'll have to figure out something else. She's been dilated to 1cm since last week, and has been on bedrest for the last 3 weeks. Just pray for each day, each week, that little baby Josie will stay put. Every day makes such a difference. She's 26 weeks this week, which is great...but the longer they can keep these contractions away the better! If I don't post updates to her story, assume no news is good news, but I'm sure I'll be posting updates on her situation soon.
