CERTIFIED

I got the call today! When DONA (Doulas of North America) certify you, they call you to let you know your officially certified, and I got my call today!! I'm officially a DONA Certified Doula :) It happened MUCH quicker than I expected as they usually say it takes two months from when you send in your certification paperwork, and it's only been three weeks!

THANK YOU to all of those who have helped me in one way or another achieve this goal. Thank you to my wonderful husband who graciously takes over for our family when clients call, when I have meetings to attend, and while I attend conferences and classes. To my clients...you know who you are, for letting me be a part of your special day, I'm honored to have witnessed the miracle of birth with you. To my friends who have watched my kids while I attended classes, conferences, births, & meetings (this pretty much includes ALL my friends!).

I'm thrilled to be certified, to be listed on DONA's website, and to be able to continue to help clients and our community as I continue my journey as a doula.
