I had the thyroid biopsy this morning, the procedure itself went fine...first some lidocaine to numb the area, then 6 separate needles to get samples. I underestimated how SORE it would be after - OUCH! They said it may be sore for 24-48 hours.
Results will take about 24 hours, so I'll post when I know more, but they said based on additional ultrasound images they took today that it definitely had some cystic components to it...which is GOOD.
Final results to come either later today or tomorrow...I'm feeling pretty optimistic :)
