I got a card in the mail from a dear friend today with a beautiful reminder:
"...I will trust and not be afraid, for the Lord is my strength and song; He is my salvation." Isaiah 12:2

Happy belated birthday, Sonia. And here's something I'm planning on talking about with my newest doula clients: God has already made all the decisions regarding your health and your life. Just like God has made the decisions for my client's upcoming birth -- and made those decisions before the foundation of the world -- He's done the same for you. So even though we don't know the answers, we can always trust that God does and that His ways are not our ways (thank goodness!).
