Isaac loves apples...every morning when he gets up he nurses, then asks to eat. We go down to the kitchen and he goes straight to the refrigerator and says "bapple!" (apple). He knows right where they are in the drawer and DEMANDS one every morning.
He's also mastered stairs, the gates are used more for containment than safety now. He doesn't like to share, and is a bit of a picky eater. He'll actually eat just about anything, but lately never more than a few bites of anything.
Isaac also is talking more, here is his current list of words at *almost* 18 months:
bapple (apple)
mama
dada
shart ro (Charlotte Rose)...sometimes just 'ro'
may ?? (Mason...usually two syllables, but the second one varies, strange I know)
door
bear
cookie
cracka (cracker)
'sss' (what a snake says)
whaa (what an elephant says - with his arm up in the air)
arf (doggie says)
moo (cow says)
ta (hat)
hup (help - almost always in coordination with the sign)
baby
boo
buh (book - usually repeated frantically when he wants us to read)
rahrah (Sarah)
ju (juice)
ju-ee (Julie)
NO!!! (needs no translation)
no (snow, usually said when pointing to the white stuff on the ground)
ppp (up)
nigh-nigh (blanket...a.k.a gingy)
ba (ball)
guck (duck)
qak (quack)
ba-el (bottle)
day-doh (play doh)
da-dawg (doggie)
I know there's many more I'm forgetting...but I'm surprised there are so many, I keep thinking he's not talking that much, but I guess he is!
He also still signs, here are the ones he uses
drink
snuggle (nurse)
eat
please
help
He's growing up so fast!
