Matt has been home, as expected, since Thursday night. We have had a wonderful weekend all being home together. It is so nice to have our FAMILY together again!!! :)
The kids were so happy to see him Friday morning (I tried to video, but I pushed the wrong button...oops!)...velcro hugs and lots of smiles. Isaac was a bit tentative, but he had just woken up and was a little grumpy. NOW, however, he admits flat out that he is going to "keep an eye on Daddy" so he doesn't go back to India. It is quite adorable.
The kids had their first sleepover last night. Kailey and Travis slept over and they all had a ton of fun! The shenanigans didn't go on nearly as long after bedtime as I thought they might, and the kids even all slept in until 7:45am! Mason and Travis were both very sorry to part ways, but we reassured them they'll see each other again soon.
It has been a fabulous weekend...having Matt back has felt a bit like catching my breath after a long run. Now I've caught my breath and it's back to life as usual tomorrow.
Tomorrow includes Maggie's 6 month well check with her pediatrician (although her official 6 month bday isn't until Tuesday). Will update tomorrow....
