She now weighs 17 lbs, 10 oz and is somewhere around 29 inches tall. She is eating more solids and loves Cheerios, baby goldfish crackers, most veggies and fruits, with her favorite foods being yogurt and bananas. We had beef stew last night and she LOVED the meat and the carrots (just in tiny bits on her tray). She is crawling everywhere, and stands for extended periods (minutes at a time), but hasn't really started taking steps.
She is FINALLY sleeping better, about 10 hours, then I can nurse her and put her back down for an hour or two. She also takes 2 naps that are anywhere from 45 minutes to 3 hours long.
She is usually happy, unless she's tired then she gets a little cranky. I love how she crawls up to me when she's sleepy...puts her head on my chest and sucks her thumb. She is just oh so precious.
For her nine month birthday, we celebrated after dinner tonight with red creme-filled holiday Oreos, and of course Maggie got one too...her first!
Matt is gone to India so he missed the celebration :( We are missing him horribly and are counting down the days until he comes home...SIX more days!!
