Virus

We have had a strange virus going around the house. It started with Charlotte on Tuesday evening...she had a fever of 103 degrees. She stayed home from school on Wednesday, and by mid-afternoon she was FINE. Fever hadn't returned and her mood was awesome!

All was fine until Thursday evening, when I noticed Mason had a fever...between 103-104...an unusually high fever for him. So, I kept him medicated through the night, and his fever held on a little longer. Friday afternoon I gave him more meds, but today he's FINE.

Last night Maggie got the fever...I can only hope it's as short lived for her as it was for the rest of them!

And in the meantime, I've been achy for the last 3 days, taking ibuprofen constantly! I did get a flu shot on Monday, so I can't decide if it's a reaction from the shot, or just a variation of the virus (I have had no fever).

I guess it's that time of year, but it certainly beats what we were battling last year at this time!!

Maggie woke up FINE today! No more fever...and I'm feeling better now too. YAY for a healthy family! :)
