Merry Christmas to all! We had a terrific day! Mason was up at 6am and burst into our bedroom announcing "SANTA CAME!!"....it was cute :)
The kids had lots of fun playing with their new treasures, and we ended our day with a yummy dinner of ham, fresh green beans, homemade au gratin potatoes, homemade butter rolls and completed our feast with a Happy Birthday celebration for Jesus...with homemade chocolate cake of course :)
We spent a lot of time this year doing Bible stories and crafts with the kids, and it is really neat to see the real meaning of Christmas sinking into their little souls.
We did take lots of pictures, but they will be featured at the end of our 2009 Year In Review slideshow...which will be coming in the next week :)
We hope everyone had a peaceful day with family and friends celebrating the birth of our Savior!
