I mentioned a couple days ago that Isaac had pooped on the potty. Well, he's done it the last three days in a row! And this isn't me watching diligently to notice the signs and running him into the bathroom. This is HIM telling me "poopie!" and we go into the bathroom, and he goes! He's even told me once when he had to go potty (although he still says 'poopie') and we made it to the bathroom in time (otherwise he usually tells me WHEN he's going or right AFTER).
I'm so proud of him at only 19 months to be doing this AT ALL, even if it is short-lived. He's so proud of himself (as you can see in the pix below). In the second pic he's giving me his best 'cheese' face :)
Now the downs...
We thought Isaac broke his leg, last night he was jumping around and Matt and I both heard a 'snap' when he landed funny. He cried and cried, but only for about 5 minutes. No visible damage or swelling so we put him to bed. Today he's still not putting any weight on it, but after a short visit to the pediatrician (including x-rays) they are telling us it's not broken. I've told Isaac he can crawl like a doggie and that helps him get around ok. He forgets occasionally and tries to stand up, but then cries until he remembers he can crawl. It's so sad to see him injured. If he's not walking on it by Thursday we're supposed to go back to the doc...we'll see what happens.
