Today

Today is a hard day for a mom. I have one boy sick (fever of 102-103 and a cough...influenza?), and one boy who is in great spirits but cannot walk. Today is hard, not because of the workload, but because my heart breaks for my boys who are not well and I cannot fix it. I pray they are both back to their rambunctious selves soon!

Mason had a fever last night, and today...he's been spending the day on the couch, looking very under the weather. He's coughing, but otherwise ok. I'm thinking it may be influenza, but there's really no reason to even get him tested (other than to satisfy my own curiosity). After our bad experience with Tamiflu last year we're not going to go anywhere near it this year!




















My littlest man is still not bearing any weight on his right leg. I am bringing him back to the doctor tomorrow to discuss possibilities. He's in great spirits and has adapted well. He crawls everywhere he needs to go, and has even learned how to get on and off the couch and go down the stairs. Note in this picture he took his left sock off, but it hurt too much for him to take his own right sock off so he crawled around with one sock on most of the morning.
